ABOUT THE ROLE

Our explosive growth has created a new opening for an Inside Salesperson to help keep that momentum going! This role DOES NOT require you to hit the streets knocking on doors, go to networking events, make cold calls, or be subject to high pressure quotas. 

What it DOES require, is someone who can show empathy to business owner needs, a genuine desire to make their lives easier, and the motivation—rooted in integrity—to persuade individuals to choose responsible solutions that best support their employees and business model.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage incoming sales leads and referrals by following up on contacts and meetings, setting up appointments, and following established processes
  • Maintain and support key referral relationships
  • Virtually demonstrate software solutions to make effective sales pitches and train current clients on new features
  • Engage with prospects and clients to empathetically listen and effectively communicate the value of our products/business solutions
  • Collaborate with outside sales and internal leadership

We’re looking for a motivated person who:

  • Has proven success in phone sales and appointment setting in a B2B environment; (Payroll sales experience is a plus)
  • Is proficient in typical office software products and adept at learning new ones
  • Enjoys operating independently but under direction
  • Communicates exceptionally well by simplifying explanations of technology solutions
  • Enjoys a job where there will be a new experience every day—a continuous flow of new clients or prospects, and new solutions

This is NOT the right opportunity for those who:

  • Don’t understand consultative selling
  • Aren’t interested in looking for creative ways to help prospects
  • Lack a sense of urgency or move at a slow, methodical pace
  • Want a narrowly defined job with clear-cut lines of responsibility
  • Struggle with or resist change
  • Can’t empathize with the unspoken and often unanticipated needs of busy clients

In addition to base pay at an annualized rate of $60,000, there is a quarterly bonus potential of $1,000 to $5,000.
